Congratulations to Dave Ulbrich (M.A. 1996) gave a lecture entitled “Thomas Holcomb and the Modern Marine Corps,” in New York City in May 2013. The lecture recently aired on C-SPAN 3and is also available to be seen here.

Congratulations to William Jacobs has accepted a position as a history and geography teacher at Northrop High School in Ft. Wayne.

Dr. Nicole Etcheson published “An Artist’s Revenge,” September 6, 2013 in the New York Times Disunion series.

Dr. Ken Hall’s review article of Philippe Beaujard, Les mondes de l’Ocean Indien, au coeur des globalisations de l’Ancien Monde (7th-15th siecle) appears in the current issue of the United Kingdom journal Antiquity.

Dr. Dan Ingram gave a talk to the Sons of American Revolution, Continental Chapter, in Muncie about Native Americans and their relationships with British forts in the era of the Seven Years’ War.
