Choose a faculty member to work with. This should be someone you’ve taken a course with before and whose area of specialization lines up with your topic. If you’re not sure what a professor’s specialization is, check the faculty profiles on the History department website.
Meet with your professor to discuss your topic and make a plan for the project.
Complete the 440 request form and send it to the professor you’ll be working with AND the Administrative Coordinator (just like the directions on the form say).
Once you receive the email from the Administrative Coordinator with the Course Reference Number for your 440 section, add the course to your schedule.
